Featured Builders

30 builders. One thread. Here’s what they’re shipping.

One thread. One question. Thirty builders showed up and told us exactly what they're making. From open-source oncall infrastructure to SQL detective games, AI visibility tools to pet health apps — this is a snapshot of where indie software actually lives right now.

From the r/SAASbuild floor

We dropped a single prompt into r/saasbuild — “What are you building?” — and stepped back. What came back was a snapshot of where indie software actually lives right now: open-source infrastructure tools, AI-native products, solo experiments, and a few things that don’t fit any category yet.

This is not a curated list of funded startups. It’s builders in motion — some launched yesterday, some have been quietly shipping for months. A few are making money. Most are not yet. All of them are making something.

We’re featuring every project that showed up. No filters for stage, polish, or funding. If you built it and dropped it in the thread, it’s in here.

Regen by FluidifyAI

Open Source · Infrastructure

github.com/FluidifyAI/Regen

A self-hosted, open-source oncall management suite that replaces PagerDuty, incident.io, and Rootly at zero cost. Handles alerts, incidents, and AI-generated post-mortems. Bidirectional sync with Slack and Teams. Works out of the box with Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.

Production-ready and tested. BYO-AI.

● Production ready

aislop

OSS · CLI · Code Quality

scanaislop.com

A code quality gate built specifically for AI-generated code. Catches what agents like Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex quietly leave behind: dead code, swallowed exceptions, any casts, hallucinated imports. 50+ rules across 8 languages. Sub-second. Fully deterministic. Nothing leaves your machine.

npx aislop scan — that’s the whole install.

● Live · building in public

Code Pet

Electron · Claude Code

github.com/mradovic95/code-pet

A tiny animated pet that lives in the corner of your screen and reacts to what Claude Code is doing. Sleeps when you’re idle, gets to work when you send a prompt, holds a thinking pose in plan mode, and looks up at you whenever Claude needs your input. Tracks every skill and MCP tool you call, locally. No telemetry. Never leaves the machine.

Long AI coding sessions feel a bit lonely.

◐ v0.1.x · actively developed

Taskosaur

Open Source · Project Management

An open-source project manager where the AI actually does the work instead of just chatting about it. The premise is simple and the distinction is real: most AI-integrated PM tools are chat wrappers. This one ships tasks.

Growth Constraint Intelligence

GTM · Revenue

A platform that finds the bottleneck limiting revenue growth for SaaS companies post-PMF. Combines internal and external business signals to diagnose what’s actually slowing growth — before recommending where to deploy capital and attention. Most companies respond to slowing growth by hiring salespeople. We diagnose the actual bottleneck first.

◐ Validation stage
